Made In Abyss 2.5D Animation
Taking the original art from the anime, Made in Abyss to animate a diorama like scene. Using Photoshop to separate the foreground and background of the original image and then using the clone stamp tool to fill in the empty space left from cutting out the foreground. The hair and cape were animated using the puppet tool in After Effects. By pushing the background in Z space, it gave the image a 3D like appearance as the camera revolves slightly around the picture.

Gundam Battle Scene 2.5D Animation
Took some fan art of this Gundam battle scene to animate a diorama like scene. Using photoshop to seperate the forground and background of the orignal image and then using the clone stamp tool to fill in the empty space left from cutting out the foreground. The hair and clothing were animated using the puppet tool in After Effects. By pushing the background in Z space, it gave the image a 3D like appearance as the camera pushes forward slightly towards the girl.

OrbitalDrop_Shortversion
This was an experiment I did in After Effects using Video Co-pilot's Element 3D plug-in to create an animated scene. As I was making it I wasn't sure if this was an Halo ODST like drop pod or an orbital bombardment. Either way, it turned out pretty cool.
